My husband, Brandon, and I love to hike together. When we first started dating, we loved going for runs together, walking in the evening, hiking, biking-- you name it. But over the past few years, Brandon has been experiencing chronic pain in his knees and shoulders. This has been a total bummer for our hikes and runs because we can't hike as hard or as long. We're all about natural solutions in our household so today, I'm sharing my top 5 ways to relieve pain naturally!

5 Ways to Relieve Pain Naturally // The Free & Wild Blog #StopPainNow #ad

Essential oils // These are great for pain relief. If you're a fan of the Doterra brand of oils, we like to use a mix called "Deep Blue". It does wonders for relieving muscle pain instantly and the smell is amazing. Peppermint is also good as well!

Coconut water // Coconut water is very anti-inflammatory, which means it's going to help reduce the swelling of joints. It's a great sports drink after a long hike!

Chiropractor // I believe whole-heartedly in going to a chiropractor. I see mine on a weekly basis and it helps me a ton. It's a great way to heal naturally!

Epsom salt // We have a ton of Epsom salt around our house because we love Epsom baths. They are so relaxing, the salt smells so good (I got mine in a lavender scent) and they totally relax your muscles.

  •  Curamin® Stop Pain Now // It's an award winning pain relief* product that is safe and non-addictive. It's not an over-the-counter medicine, so I feel confident giving it to Brandon to use.
I recently discovered Curamin® while we were at Mom's Organic Market. They just opened one right by our house and I'm telling ya, we're there every single week. They are always stocked well and the people that work there are always so nice! We found Curamin® near the back of the store in the Vitamin and Supplement aisle.

With some chiropractic care, essential oils, and Curamin®, Brandon and I can get back to our hikes sooner than later. It's nice knowing that there's a safe, natural option for people wanting to relieve pain, without placing chemicals or harmful additives into their bodies. We're back on the trails a lot more these days. Don't let pain hold you back-- give Curamin® a try!
